I’ve been wanting to try a build that doesn’t require any specializations for the mage class, and this was the result. This build takes spells in every mage tree (Spirit, Storm, Inferno, and Winter) with the aim of having access to a lot of different tools.

Solo Two-Hand Champion Build
I’ve seen the Two-handed DPS Champion build being mentioned quite a bit so I decided to try it out for myself. This is arguably the easiest and most effective way to solo the game, although it does require you to be relatively high level (15+) to pull off.
Knight Enchanter Build (Old)
Here’s a short and sweet guide to arguably the most powerful specialization/build in the game – the Knight-Enchanter Mage. This build will give you unrivaled damage and survivability. Two-Handed Templar Build
There’s one last specialization that I haven’t talked about yet in terms of builds, and that’s the Templar. Despite my early thoughts on this spec, it works far better with a two-handed weapon than with a shield and one-hander.
Fire Necromancer Build
The Necromancer specialization is probably the weakest out of the 3 mage specs right now, but that doesn’t mean it’s not viable. Necromancers deal good sustained damage and also have a bunch of cool abilities and passives that make them fun to play, like Spirit Mark (resurrect enemies to fight for you) and Simulacrum.
Artificer Archer Build
I finally got around to trying out the Artificer specialization. I thought this was the least interesting rogue spec, but it actually ends up being pretty fun once you have all the right passives working together.
